| Dear ANMTA Member:
As the New Year welcomes us, your Association representatives prepare for another exciting conference and successful year. Of course, your participation and contributions remain instrumental to the success of our organization and events!
The 2008 Annual Dues Form is enclosed for completion and remittance. It is requested that this form and payment be returned by March 31, 2008. We’re certain you’ll agree that the cost of your membership is far outweighed by the benefits received as an ANMTA member.
Thanks to the success of our Silent Auctions and everyone’s overwhelming generosity, we are able to continue to award ten $1,500 scholarships. Enclosed for your distribution to eligible employees within your organization is the ANMTA Scholarship procedures and application form. Completed scholarship applications must be received by Rich Dullum no later than April 1, 2008. The recipients of these scholarships will be announced at our Spring Conference.
The Spring Conference is scheduled for April 29th, 30th, and May 1st at the Avi Resort and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada. The resort is located on the beautiful Colorado River with an outstanding 18-hole golf course and a swimming lagoon that boasts a white sand beach. Native American tradition and folklore are represented in the architecture and design.
A block of rooms has already been set aside for conference attendees, beginning on Sunday, April 27th through Friday, May 2nd. Room rates begin at $34, and to make reservations, please call 1-866-284-2946 and mention the Arizona-New Mexico Telecommunications Association. Full details of this conference will be mailed out in early February.
The Spring Conference affords Associate Members the opportunity to “strut their stuff” via a Vendor Tabletop Showcase. So, be prepared for some great displays with up-to-date product information. Literature on the tabletops will be mailed with the conference packet.
If you haven’t yet done so, please check our website www.anmta.com. All the documents enclosed are available from this site, including direct links to Associate Member websites, forms for speaker proposals, etc. We’re excited about our website and want to ensure YOU are taken care of. So, if you see room for enhancement, please let us know.
Needless to say, the Board of Directors and I are excited about seeing you at our upcoming conference. Should you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact me, or your Director of choice (list attached). The resort promises to heighten the senses and dull the aches of stress and daily cares. Whereas, the conference promises to enlighten us of industry technologies, events and opportunities, balanced with the best of entertainment and camaraderie.
Sincerely,
Jose Matanane
Association President
