SPRING 2009

February 4, 2009

Dear ANMTA Member:

At the Fall Conference General Meeting Arizona Commissioner Kristan Mayes told our members:

You do not know how important you are!

Our 2009 Spring Conference will be held April 28th, through May 1st, at the Westin La Paloma in Tucson, Arizona. You will love the Spanish styled décor and the setting of the La Paloma Resort. It offers a myriad of recreational activities, and superb service.

Our Theme is “Pioneering Our Future.” Competition reminds us that we must remain prepared to provide the most advanced services available. Thursday we will hear from the Arizona Corporation Commission and the New Mexico PRCA at our general meeting. On Friday morning, the Plant and Commercial training will feature a panel of representatives of WTA, NTCA and ITTI on Federal Rules that affect you.

The conference starts with our traditional golf tournament on Wednesday.  This course uses water, sand and undulating hills to make you think about that next shot. Come enjoy some great golf with friends and associates!

To benefit our Scholarship Fund, our Silent Auction and reception will be held on Wednesday evening.  Please remember to bring a gift or gifts for the auction, and support our fundraising activities, as we continue to provide as many scholarships as possible to our young people.

On Thursday, following our hosted breakfast, join us for our General Business Meeting where the 2009 Scholarship Recipients will be announced, an industry updates discussed, and golf awards will be presented.  After a hosted lunch, plan to attend the Tabletop Showcase and see the “latest and greatest” that our Associate Members have to offer.  Several prizes will be drawn during both events so don’t forget to register!  The day will end with a great dinner and entertainment.

We look forward to seeing you in Tucson at our 2009 Spring Conference!  If you have any questions about the meeting, please contact Paul Moreland, ANMTA Executive Director at 928-684-2556.

Sincerely,
 Joe
